I am an ASHA member and am both nationally and state certified with continuing post graduate education courses to continue to develop my knowledge in the field.

I have experience in, but am not limited to, Articulation/Phonological disorders, Developmental Delays, Autism/PDD, and Down Syndrome.

Review the Developmental Milestone Chart for children ages birth to 5 to see if your child is understanding and talking at an age appropriate level. You may also review additional charts here.

Therapeutic Environment

ASTS provides 1-to-1 therapy in your home or child's daycare. A team approach is encouraged if other therapists also work with your child.

What can I expect from therapy?

If not already done, an evaluation will be conducted to determine if therapy is necessary. A mutually agreeable time will be established 2x/week for 30 minute sessions, initially. A treatment plan with goals will be established for at least a 6 month period of time and as goals are mastered, new ones will be developed. Activities and resources will be made available to families to carryover skills for practice. Goals are continually assessed informally and are re-evaluated every 6 months. Additional evaluations will be conducted as necessary to determine formal progress.
